I've seen a few over the years, I think that's about what they were asking for the AWD ones. Very cool though, I'd love to have one.

Damn. That would be sweet, but I'd want to mod it. LOL

Or throw some collector plates at it.

Re: Time capsule

I don't buy cars as collector pieces to sit and rarely be driven :)

Re: Time capsule

Depends on the car. I won't say this is a museum piece or anything, but it's low enough miles that I'd keep it to fair weather only.

Hell, I have collector plates on mine, doesn't mean you can't drive it.

I bought my auto '94 Eagle Talon TSI AWD about 2-3 years ago with 22,000 original miles from the original owner. No mods, all original, garage kept, never driven in snow or rain. It's been my DD ever since though.

How many miles on it now? And hows it looking after a few MN winters?

Re: Time capsule

If I found a low mileage one, I would tuck it away and drive it only once in a while. I wouldn't want to daily drive one of these things anymore, no matter how nice it is. But I'm old. :D

It has approximately 46,424. I'm in the car right now warming it up lol.

After a few winters it's not bad. The finish on the rims took the most damage (salt damage).

Basic wear and tear. It's not as mint as when I first bought it but it's still cleaner and more original than most DSMs out there. When I bought it, it still had the new car smell. It was pretty crazy.
