AMSoil dominator & Valvoline NSL synthetic - Cheapest prices

I'm looking at:
AMSoil Dominator in 5w20, 10w30 and 15w50
Valvoline NSL Synthetic 5w30, 10w30, 20w50
Valvoline VR1 10w30, 20w50

Anyone use these?
Anyone know the cheapest/best place that I can get these from?

I'll take any recommendations too, I'm using this as a reference: http://store.forcedperformance.net/m...otor%20Oil.pdf

I'm looking to step up my oil quality a bit since I'm going to be leaning on the turbos a bit.

I cant give a straight answer as to why, but my engine seems to run better using Rotella T6 and the oil seems to interact with ethanol rather well. May be the added detergents for diesel engines.

I am running 40psi with a 20g, no problems.

I did get a blackstone report when i was Penzoil Ultra. Superb oil but I cant find the oil anywhere anymore.

Kerry has always given me great prices on Amsoil, otherwise DB stock Brad Penn.

Otherwise I don't think PTE is too picky on what oil you use, that T6 is good shit as far as I know like Chad said.

Amsoil 10w-40 high zinc. Been running that for 10k miles. After each change oil has still looked fresh.

Scheides and I both run (past tense for me, lol) this as well. I was very pleased with it.

My old Evo was getting Rotella T6 before that and loved it, the Jetta has been on it for 70k and is happy, and I'll parrot how well it gets along with E85.

How oil looks after a change does not speak to it's quality. Lack of dark/black color could mean one of two things:

1. the oil isn't properly suspending carbon particles
2. you're running a very restrictive filter that filters down to the tiniest of particles

#1 is something to be concerned about since that means the grit is getting into your bearings rather than held away from the metal, #2 is only something to be concerned about if the overall area of filter media isn't large enough to support adequate oil flow.

^Or there really isn't much carbon to begin with since e85 motors seem to be really clean when taken apart.

Agreed and my stock motor saw 80k miles, 65k of which were modded miles.

That too. It is generally accepted that you need to change your oil more frequently with ethanol use though since it breaks motor oil down more quickly since it is not petroleum based.
