Gauge cluster color change 2g

Know how I can do this? |
Re: Gauge cluster color change 2g
Backlight color or face color? If you have black gauges and want to change the backlight you can change the bulbs behind to be blue but I think this would be really hard to see. If you have white gauges and want to change to illuminated blue you'll probably have to buy some that are pre-made that way. I don't think you could paint them with a translucent blue and turn out ok.
Either way, sounds ricey, but it's your car. |

Blue interior lights
Hope this helps. |
Re: Gauge cluster color change 2g
You have to take your cluster apart and sand off the orange coating on the back of the gauge faces. I did it to my '95 TSi AWD so I could change the color or just go with LEDs. I have yet to do anything with it, but you can tell a difference between what was orange coated before.
