aem wb logging with 02 sim link v3

so a friend just picked up a 2g. he has no front or rear 02 instead he has aem wb simulating front 02 as far as i can tell. when i logged in i noticed a front 02 happening. my question is can i log the 0-5v wb thru link with it sumulating in the front 02? he has the white wire from aem to pin 76 front 02

Yes, you can log as well as using NB sim, you need V3 though. I tapped into the front O2 wire, you have to point the logging to that input in the misc settings.

ok man I planned on trying that just wasn't sure if by logging the front 02 if I would be getting that narrow band sim as i assume thats what its doing there. just seems wrong that the white wire from the wb to ecu front 02 would do both narrow band sim and allow me to log the 0-5v wideband. maybe someone could tell me how thats possible?

Sure, the WB is sending a 0-5V signal to Link, which simply scales it down to 0-1V.
