Ebrake light on
 

When I start my car, sometimes the Ebrake light will come on. It'll dissapear after driving around for a while.

I don't even use my Ebrake.

The rear calipers and rotors are fine.

What causes this phantom light to come on and off sometimes? It's just starting to get annoying and it's an eye sore.

Either fluid level, or e-brake switch.

The level sensor float could be stuck down in the brake fluid reservoir. Or just a bad switch/wiring for either the handbrake switch or brake fluid level switch. Check each circuit and you should find your problem.

Alternator maybe starting to go? Not sure if 1gs electrical is similar enough but, the Brake light would come on back when I had my 2G.
