None.

Re: Zimmerman Verdict

The state failed to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

The correct verdict was made.

That is the way our judicial system works.

Re: Zimmerman Verdict

I agree the correct verdict was made.

Now take away the verdict, do you think justice was served?

There wasnt enough evidence to prove he wasnt using self defense. Regardless, he should have never went after the kid in the first place. Fails all around.

I agree, a ton of mistakes made across the board. Trayvon should not have came back after him either since he has lost him. Both of them escalated the situation much farther than they should have and bad things happened. The correct verdict was made because here was reasonable doubt, but neither party was innocent.

If they would have went after manslaughter it may have been a different verdict.

Re: Zimmerman Verdict

But what if Zimmerman's account of the events was accurate? He was the designated neighborhood watchman (not a cop), but it is not illegal to follow somebody you believe is up to no good, he had a CC permit, he was not legally bound to follow a 911 dispatcher's direction, and what if Martin attacked him?

Re: Zimmerman Verdict

Martin did attack him, that's why he got off, self defense.

And this.

Those are my thoughts.

1) He got as fair of trial as anyone else would have gotten. To say it fails is just ignorant. It's the lawyer's job to convince the jury beyond a reasonable doubt one way or another and the state/prosecution did not do that. Doesn't matter one bit what anyone else besides that jury thinks about which side made their case better.

2) Mexican shoots black man, White people get blamed. Makes perfect sense!

3) Obama saying that could have been him 20 years ago. WOW. That could be enough content for it's own seperate thread there.

To say "He got as fair of trial as anyone else would have gotten" leaves me for the most part speechless. You can't really believe that?

Think "agenda" and it all makes sense. Only problem for O Inc. is they didn't look before they leaped.

Re: Zimmerman Verdict

btw, before you jump on me on this:
I am in agreement, the prosecution failed to prove their case. its on them to prove it.
the law itself however is flawed as it makes it ones word vs another, and if both feel they were threatened it adds up to creating a war zone where people get scared and fire back and forth with no reason but someone scary looking.
Every group of people needs to come together in their community and rise up to smash the stereotypes that have been cast upon them. At the same time people need to stop making racist remarks against a single group of people. Smash Racism, and stop giving people reasons. it starts in communities and will spread to eventually all of america if people let it.

Jump on in, the waters fine.

How do you smash it when you have a President and DOJ flaming it on? As far as "casting stereotypes upon them", I'm not really sure that is a correct statement.
Seems like the stereotypes are for the most part self generated.
The "Stand Your Ground" Law did not apply in this case, it's just another diversion.

This whole trial has been a diversion from Detroit, IRS targeting, NSA snooping, Benghazi and everything else this administration should be impeached for.

What exactly leaves you speechless? I guess I'm a bit confused. The cards were stacked against him for sure, but it ultimately comes down to the jury.

Either way, IMO the right decision was made. Piece of shit little drug using hood rat gets busted snooping around a gated community in the middle of the night, then when he gets followed he gets assaultive. Gets his ass shot out of self defense.

I think "stacked against him" would be an understatement. Even the judge hearing the case did everything she could to assist in the prosecution of Zimmerman.

Here's a great video showng a lot of the details that were purposely left out of the trial in the courtroom and out of the trial by the media.

I suggest everybody watch this all the way through.
