Need some direction twin cities people

I just got engaged in May and we are having our engagement photos taken at the end of August. I'm looking for some good spots in the cities area that have a good backdrop. One type of photo I know I want is with downtown in the background such as this.. http://i39.tinypic.com/xbae5t.jpg

Any ideas would be great on a good location.

Is your photographer from around the area or a Duluth native?

I can't think of a exact place like that where you can get the whole city in the background besides maybe Lake Calhoun. Otherwise everybody else had great suggestions for Minneapolis.

Rice Park in St. Paul could be kind of cool, Shepard/Warner road has a few little scenic look outs that might be able to get St. Paul in the back ground.

Calhoun, lake of the isles ect. Will all offer skylines of the city. Or you can try any of the the bridges on the south side that go over 35

There is also the reliastar (white building on the corner of Hennepin and Washington). They have fountains and large concrete ponds.
There was also some cool stuff on the art institute campus but not positive where.

Trying to think back to my skateboarding days and what we went by.

They are from Duluth that does weddings here and in Cali/west coast area.

Great ideas everyone, I'm going to google map those areas and I'm sure I will use them. I just want to get the best back drops.. Kinda nice the photographer is willing to do whatever we like.. for what we are paying.. they better.. Shock to the system! Weddings are not cheap!
