I just got my new Xbox Magazine today and it had an article on Need For Speed Underground 2. It scoming out fall of this year and there will be 30+ rides you can buy, mod and race. Along with new cars comes a new story line. Its more of an RPG game where you are a person more or less, and you drive around multiple cities looking for races or chatting with rivals for tips. Racing occurs 24/7, no longer just night racing, and in all sorts of weather. You can also expect road hazard, as well as stupid peds running in front of your car. Its gonna be even better than the holiday hit. :dsmrule: :woowoo:

3 things they should have changed:

-Made it like GTA3 where you can choose if you want to roll around and do nothing or find people to race. I think it would have been cool if when you beat the game the whole city was unlocked and you could go anywhere.

-Made appearance mods (wings) worth more points.

-They should definatly add 1g's in to the game.

Other than that I loved the first ;)

I'll probably pick it up for PC...the first was fun.

It looks and sounds like it'll be better than the first. But it still won't have anything on the best NFS ever... Porsche Unleashed.

Yeah, best ever and awesome in its own right, but still not better than any Gran Turismo :razz2:

I cant wait.. that was all me and my friends did for like two weeks, until everyone had skylines that were riced out.

i think they made it to soon. but other then that it looks cool. whats the fastest anybody hit on the "mile" in the first one? i think mine is like 21.3 or something. some people i talk to say they could hit 19, it maybe possible, but i think its :bs: for that guy to hit it.
