New Guy

Hey y'all just a little introduction. My name is Adam, from Northern St. Paul. I just recently bought an Eclipse Spyder. Pretty sweet little ride. Very fun to drive, and turns quite a few heads. Was reading a few of the threads and see that not a whole lot of you meet up and chill, but on the weekends if I am free I would like to meet up and maybe meet a couple of y'all, and take a look and see what you are working with. I don't know a hell of a lot about cars, but I do understand quite a bit, and I'm not talking just oil changes and spark plugs.

Welcome, Adam!

I don't often post in these, but you appear have an understanding of sentence structure and punctuation, so I thought I'd say hello.

This is easily one of the best Mitsubishi car communities there is because how close knit the group is. That being said, I hope you have a thick skin :D

But if you have a good attitude, enjoy learning and helping others out when you're able, then you'll fit in.

Yes I actually apply some of the things I learned in school to real life. And yeah I can take a few licks here and there when it comes to words. Also more than willing to help out with the limited knowledge that I know.

Welcome to the board.

My Spyder started life as a n/a auto when I bought it off the lot.

Yeah I want to do some work to it but I have to get the exhaust and brakes done first. Then comes the fun of doing the other work.

Just got the Pic up. it is Super clean. Not a spec of rust on it, other than the typical brakes and stock heads. Engine almost looks brand new, but ill get that up when it is a nicer day.

Very nice color. Mine is the same.

If you are just you going to keep it fwd. at lease do front Gsx brakes and rear disk brake swap. The stocks are not very good when it is a single piston front and drum rears. The spyders and Gsx are pretty close in weight.
