Baby has new shoes!
3 Attachment(s)
After years of watching my wife buy closets full of shoes, I decided to treat myself to a pair. Size 17x9 to be exact. I need to get a little more negative camber and get the front down a hair, but it's pretty close. No rubbing and no spacers needed.

Eww, just noticed that it looks like it sticks out more in front than it actually does. It actually tucks fairly well, especially compared to the last 17x9's I had.

Re: Baby has new shoes!
That really does look great Steve! All that measuring paid off!

Re: Baby has new shoes!
You can never go wrong with Enkei RPF1's. Looking really good!

Re: Baby has new shoes!
Looks good!!!

Re: Baby has new shoes!
Very nice, Steve! What offset did you go with? I have RP-F1's in 17x8.5 at 30 offset and I had to notch (grind) my front struts to get 2 degrees negative camber in the front.

Very nice! What's the offset? Also what finish is that?

I did have to notch the rear lower control arms like a few others have done, but that was simple. I've got the eccentric front bolts for camber, but it's not enough, they are at about 0 right now. I need camber plates. Not too surprisingly, against everything I've read, there are no clearance issues with regular Koni shocks and Eibach springs, coilovers are definitely not needed. |

Silver. I'm planning on bringing them to Powderkeg this winter to go bronze. |

Re: Baby has new shoes!
Definitely a nice upgrade! Looks sexy, can't imagine how awesome they'll look in bronze!

Re: Baby has new shoes!
What size tires are on it?
|
Re: Baby has new shoes!
255/40/17. I probably could've gone with 245's to tuck a little better, but I wanted as much rubber on the road as possible.

Re: Baby has new shoes!
Lookin good! curious to see how they turn out in bronze!

Re: Baby has new shoes!
Before you go bronze, you should come over so I can swap em onto my car just to see how they'd look :)
