wtborrow: walbro 255's

Hey I'm wondering if anyone either has an extra walbro 255lph fuel pump or two laying around that they would let me borrow for diagnostic purposes. I need 2. If you do let me know. Thanks.

I have a DW300 that I'd sell too, by both and you should be good for 850whp.

For how cheap the wally 255's are I would personally buy new, they are like 80 bucks or something.

Otherwise snatch up the two above. :)

Yeah they're like 95 with an install kit so they're not bad. It was a long shot but figured worth a shot to see if someone had they're car apart or something and would let me drop them in and do a few pulls to see what would happen. Lol

For how cheap they are, just buy them, if they don't work sell them. You will lose all of 10-20 bucks on the deal haha. Maybe 30 I guess, but still DB or MAP prolly has them in stock, get them this week new ,test, then sell after if needed.

True plus I have to run up to db to pick up my talon today anyways. Otherwise I might just run out to map since I'm not working today.

See if DB has any in stock while you're up there

I have two 255s with the pressure reliefs punched out. They're somewhere in the garage in ziplocks.

They came out of my car last summer when I had DB put new ones in my car just because.

I'll see if I can find them today, if I do and they're still in sealed bags you can have them for cheap. I mention this as if the bags aren't still sealed, I don't want to give them to anyone as dirt could have gotten into the pumps somehow.

It'll save you from buying new ones if you're interested in just swapping to see if they're the cause of your fuel pressure issue.
