I think I'm going to buy this when it comes out.

Jeep Liberty CRD

It has a 2.8L I-4 turbo diesel. 160 hp @ 3800 rpm and 295 ft/lbs of torque @ 1800 rpm!! :D It's going to be my new daily driver/tow vehicle.

I wouldn't attempt to pull a car trailer with it. Maybe a car on a dolly, but that would be it. Does sound like a good daily though!

i like diesl engines...

but i would rather take a 3.9 cummins and stuff it in there and get same fuel milage if not better,

exactly, what a lot of people don't realize is that you need a heavier vehicle for towing.. thats why my tow truck is 7000LB and the trailer is 2000LB...

but overall.. you don't want your trailer/car combo to exceed your vehicle weight which in the jeeps case it would!

That and there is another big thing, wheel base! Short, narrow, tall things are not good for towing with. I tried it once with my 4dr Explorer V8 and it was not good.

Looks like a good choice for a daily car and something you could just have some fun in :D
