Conquest
Found this on CarDomain.com |
Very, very nice!!!! :D Definately love the color!
|
Sweet ride!

Blue 'Quests look plain awsome. A tidbit of interesting info that I got from Reid:
None of the blue SQ's are the exact same color. Mitsu kept slightly remixing the paint so each one was unique. This is what I heard and I found it pretty interesting. |
Very cool tidbit of info. :D I wish they would have done that with other cars/colors.

also, anything i hear from reid is questionable! lol. get ready to see another blue quest around... not long! (not mine) that looks quite a bit like the tainter bros. car. with that poopy side exhaust and stuff. (rust in same spot) http://www.t-racing.com/Image%20file...e/DSC01035.JPG www.t-racing.com for michigan hick-style free-mods. oh well, they ditched their old ways and went MPI like smart kids. EDIT: yeah, this stupid-ass just took pics from http://www.t-racing.com and posted them up on his site. this kid is retarded, he must have either seen this car when they really did go to gainsville (to race) and found their site and plagurized. what a fool. |
Yes, that's the tainter's car. They own the fastest quest, at least on starquestclub's boards (biggest + most popular). Well...fastest other than the drag cars.
Those hick-mods sure do alot when added all up eh? On a side note I HATE MY QUEST. Alot... |

you should give it to me. or tell me what you think is wrong and i will fix it for a couple bucks |
No reason to hate the car...the only reason it is broken is because you broke it. I am not trying to be mean here, but just honest.

Wow, 3 starquesters in one thread, gawdamn!!
Yeah, if everything goes well, there could be a certain blue (and some primer ;) )89 conquest cruising uni and helping take back check in as few as 2 weeks. That is optimistic thinking, but almost definately within a month seeing as I will have more free time with no school and everything. All I have left is front right shock/spring, brakes all around, throttle body gasket, and hooking up intercooler pipes. |

The difference in the recipes was the amounts of silver, white and blue pearl tones, so they could definately have had 3 huge vats, each with one color, and load their spray guns up with diff ratios of the colors for each car. He said he had never seen anything like that before, having so many recipes so similar. Anyway, mine is a mix of the silver and blue pearl tones, so hopefully it will look like the stock color. |
If you want a true match to your stock paint, take off the fuel door and find a paint place that has an analyzer. They can analyze the paint that is on there and get an exact color match recipe for it. Then they will mix it up and it will match perfectly. I'm not sure of who has one around here but I remember there were a few places in St. Cloud that had one.
|
if st. cloud has one, then the cities area has got to have one.

But just out of curiosity, would that work on 15 year old, faded and oxidized paint, I can't imagine how it would "see past" all the imperfections and find the good color underneath. |
