Everyone should do this before getting insurance or reanalyzing insurance rates. The number is for the Dept of Public Safety and seems to change randomly, but you can give them a call and ask about removing any older tickets. I think speeding tickets can be removed after 3 years and careless after 5 yrs. It's free and takes 5 minutes.

Another nice tool is to check your (or anyone else's) driving record: http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/default.aspx
Click "Criminal/Traffic/Petty Case Records" and then go to the "Search By" on the top left to select "defendant" so you can enter your name and see some of the tickets against you. The site doesn't necessarily show all tickets, but may have some old ones that can be removed.

I just wonder how accurate the site is. I have a speeding ticket show up thats just a hair over 3 years old but my improper turn isn't on there and that was the only thing insurance could find. I'm afraid to call then have something else show up when they update my record as I know not all my tickets show up on there haha

LOL, apparently all my driving stuff is off there, had a lot of tickets in my turbo rsx.

The only thing I have left is a possesion of alcohol misdemeanor lol.

Yeah, there seem to be missing tickets with a lot of people. It was discussed before and people figured they may not show up on the site if you didn't go to court to contend the charges. Insurance will know what you have and they can't add any so you're fine to call.

That number is busy A LOT! Fuckin government workers. I would hang up and call often to finally get on the line.

Then call insurance for a quick recalc of your rates
