Non Mitsu Owner, New to Site (Longest Ever)

Names Aaron Steinfeldt. I live in Winona, MN and drive a 2004 SRT4 that currently has a Stage 3 turbo fold with support mods. Plans have changed with the car from the beginning with me autocrossing.

At first I just wanted a decently quick car that I could have fun with, which is what lead me to purchasing a Stage 3 setup. After acquiring it, I began purchasing the necessary mods to run it safely. While doing all of this, a couple of friends (tmosser was one) introduced me to auto crossing. After doing this for a while, I became interested in it more and more and have decided to demod my car to get out of SM (Street Modified) and go back to stock turbo so I can compete in DSP (Street Prepared). I'm doing so to be hopefully be competitive at a national level. I'm hoping after doing it nationally for a couple years I'll start placing at those events come seat time as well as legal mods.

With that said, here are some photos of my car:

How it sits now:

Mods (Soon to be and current):
Stock turbofold (Soon to Be)
3" O2 Housing (Soon to Be)
3" Downpipe
3" MaxxFab Side Exit Exhaust
Wally 255
1025cc Injectors
DiabloSport 93 tune modified (Soon to Be)
Koni Inserts paired with Ground Control Springs (375 Front/300 Rear)
Mopar STS
AGP Dogbone Motor Mounts
Hotchkis Sway Bars (Soon to Be)
Full Poly Bushings (Soon to Be)

After being in the scene for a while, I picked up on Photography (correlates with my major of a Graphic Designer). So after some reading on what would be a decent entry level camera I decided on picking up a Nikon D3000. I started taking pictures with the kit lens (18mm-55mm) with tmosser's SRT4 being a test subject. After taking some decent pictures, I submitted them on our national board for a 2012 calendar submission. One of my photos was chosen to be in it which motivated me more to pursue car photography. I then picked up a 50mm lens and have been progressively getting better (in my opinion).

I'm only posting a few but will post a link to my accounts to my photos. These photos will be posted from oldest to most recent to show progression. Sorry if these photos are large and take a while to load.

Side note: I can photoshop peoples cars if they want changes done and are curious as to what it would look like.

With all of that said, the reason I joined the site was in hopes of spreading my name by getting more cars to photograph. Doesn't matter if the car is new, old, daily driver, garage queen, weekend warrior, or toy car. I'm just looking for some cars to shoot to expand my portfolio as further increase my experience on car photography. ;)

Good pictures. My friend has a SRT-4 and got to test drive it. It was a fun-quick little car that scooted fast.

Not too many photogs around here :) Are you a Nikon or Canon user?

Thanks C3L1CA! I've never done bikes before but I wouldn't mind trying it.

Yea they are decently quick cars. Faster than these DSMs :wetpants: but I use a Nikon D3000 as of right now. I've been wanting to upgrade my camera but with cars and designing, camera equipment gets put on the back burner.

Thanks! That TB Evo was nice. I want to say he just sold it not to long ago.

I like all the pictures you posted except for the one above. This one bugs the hell out of me. Watch your frame and contrasts... When I was looking at this thread, I almost completely missed the car. It blends into the background.

Other than that, like I said, nice pics!

I can see what you're saying with that pictures. Like I said, I'm definitely no professional when it comes to this. If I recall correctly I've done 5 photoshoots with minor things tossed in there. I'll keep that in mind though.
