This is my 5th dsm and easily the nicest one I’ve owned. I looked long and hard to find a black 1999 that wasn’t beat with black leather interior. I flew out to NY to pick this up and drove it back to MN. Car has been nothing but reliable since I’ve owned it with oil changes every 3k miles with synthetic oil. Only reason why I’m selling is to get a truck. I’ve started getting into motorcycles again and would like something that I can haul the bike out to the track in. So no need to keep the gsx around.

Current mileage is 83,XXX and will continue to go up as this is my only car.

FIC 1000cc injectors currently tuned on pump gas

SPI Industry Boost Gauge
Rebuilt tranny that shifts awesome
ACT 2600 with a street disc and act flywheel
Prothane mount on the tranny mount. Will include rest with the car.
Tokico/eibach suspension setup
Evo8 wheels with snow tires
HID headlights
Front Lip
Aftermarket speakers/alpine deck that is not currently hooked up
15% Tint – should probably be replaced

Car was tuned by Shane at DB Performance on pump gas. It made 292 at DB uncorrected which would be around 350ish on a DynoJet. This was at 20/21 psi with a very conservative tune. You could make more if you went to e85 but I wanted a nice easy to drive daily driver.

Bad:
The front bumper should be repainted. It looks fine in pictures and from a distance, but if you’re really close you can see the rock chips.
The tint has seen its better days. Looks fine from the outside and doesn’t bug me but just trying to be honest.

Man, this would have swayed the decision to get an evo for me. Where were you a month ago?? lol GLWS, looks like it's been taken care of very well and great job modding it.

What kind of MPG's were you getting on the way back to Minnesota? Very nice deal I'd say. If I get this new job, I'm definitely considering this one.

Haha it's that time of the year! ;) Hows your 2g? Haven't seen you post much about it.

Ahhh shucks. After towing the bike out to the track it kind of sealed the deal on how nice it was to sit in a truck after a day of racing and made me want a truck.

I want to say it got 24ish on the way back but the tune was pretty rich when I got.

Around town it gets anywhere between 21-23 depending on on how much traffic I sit in and how often I get on it.

Only one I currently have. It's nothing fancy so it kind of slipped my mind when making the ad.

Have a non-cruise throttle cable I'd throw in if the new owner would like. Cleans up the bay a little bit

I love it! Put quite a few miles on it over the summer. Probably hit up the last couple dyno days and call it for the year. Hopefully next year I can get a set of track wheels/tires and run it in the spring.

That would be cool to get some nice pictures of it Ryan! I'll probably take you up on that offer next week. This week is going to be pretty busy trying to get the bike ready for track but would like to get some better pictures. Cellphone pictures aren't the best hah

Congrats Brad! What a great weekend, a 9 on the bike and selling the car! It was nice to meet you as well! Thanks for bringing that stuff even though I never road the bike. Just too much going on.

Now just need to figure out what I want for the next car... Way harder than I thought haha
