Well i took my evo to the all wheel dyno that Propulshion has and made a few pulls on it. I got some runs in for free since they havent done any evo's yet and need to know how to strap them down and stuff. With the mods i was running were turbo back exhaust, manual boost controller, and ecu flash i put down 278 awhp and 318 ft/lbs. I have an intake but didnt have it on at this time. This was on 92 octane on a pretty hot car and the boost was spiking at 22 and right away pulling down to 18.5 to 19 psi at redline. I think they are pretty decent for my mods, hope you guys enjoy

How'd it go there? (Meaning, were they any good at tuning)
|
They didn't do any tuning and Ryan doesn't have anything to tune with. Good numbers Ryan. Thanks for swinging down so we could take a look!
|
They use a wideband on end of exhaust and can you watch while driving the a/f ratio?
|
They only have the o2 sensor type one that goes directly into the o2bung on the exhaust.
|
Nice numbers! So what are their rates anyway for a couple pulls?
|
nice #s
|
Nice numbers!
That seems about right for your times Comparison, I was at 265whp and 316Tq How was the shop?! |
The shops not bad at all and the guys are really cool. Remer chris mines awhp :3gears: When are we gonna finally line em up

I am quite sure neither of them are signed up
I know Ryan was talking about it before, but it hasn't happened yet. Maybe he will give me the $$$ to sign him up or send it in to the address on the website via snail mail. JET |
Nice numbers man, I might have to dyno on this them there awd dyno thing. But I would want to drive my car, so I will stop in and see if that would be possible. I already have a wideband o2 and I can tune my own car, not much to do now besides see what it makes.

Yeah, it would be very interesting to see the difference between FWD and AWD dyno's. Granted they are different brands/types so that will throw it off some.
|
John, they will let you drive your own car. When Ryan dynoed his he was behind the wheel the entire time.
My cousin's husband owns a racing wheel shop. They have a Mustang dyno at his shop. He said that Mustang dynos are lower numbers as compared to a Dynojet dyno. But, he also stated that the Mustang numbers are typically closer to the actual numbers the car is producing. So if you are looking for bragging rights, stick to the Dynojet. |
Nicely put Joey. Hey Jet i just got a new job this week so next week i am siging up for sure. ;)
|
Sweet! I am working on getting some Audi's and VW's signed up. Watch out for some of those little air cooled bugs!
|
This is Ryan under kiels name, i put down 289 whp and the same 318 ft/lbs.
I strapped it on again today for the heck of it. :woowoo: |
Shop rates:
I think they are the following, don't quote me: $65-2 pulls $75-3 pulls $160/hr, using there wideband, them or u tuning. $120/hr w/o wideband I think. Decent setup, really shitty for cooling/airflow, but its down in a pit so that kinda keeps the air temps down a few degrees. All in all a very viable option for the awd guys that can't convert. |
