Question About Medication
So I went to walgreens the other day to buy some sudafed. You have to pick it up at the pharmacy. So I went there and they carded me, no big deal. the dude said I couldnt buy it because I was "over my limit" and he could not sell me the drug. Problem is I have not bought that drug or any other in at least 3 month when I bought some allergy stuff. Does anyone know what they go by when checking the ID? Is it your name, address or DL number?

Re: Question About Medication
weird. They do that because its an ingredient for making meth with. No idea what kind of tracking system they use though. I will ask my mother in law, she's a pharmacy tech, maybe she would know something?

Re: Question About Medication
I believe they only track it per store chain, so going somewhere else to get it (Target etc) should be fine.

Re: Question About Medication
Dude said its like a national thing or something so if I got it at target it would show that I did. There's probably someone out there cooking meth with pills they bought under my name.

Re: Question About Medication
It's tracked by DL# and Name. There is a national database but MN doesn't require all Pharmacies to be a part of that database so you don't know if it's going into that or not. There are daily and monthly limits, so if you haven't bought any in 3 months then someone is possibly using your ID. You can request a copy of the report from the Pharmacy, showing the purchase history.

Re: Question About Medication
How do so many Style members know which ingredients to use to cook meth???
Er, um... Nevermind ;) My guess is that the CEO has it right, since hes married into the pharmacy business. |
