95 gsx transmission seized
 

Hey guys. I have a 97 Spyder gst and swapped a 95 gsx driveline in it. I drove it today and all of a suddenly I had nothing in 3rd. So I put it into 4th and got somewhere safe. I parked it and just shifted through and engaged gears. Soon enough. I couldn't get it over to 5/R, didn't engage 4th. And soon enough. Got LOCKED out of all gears! So I opened the hood and tried to work the forks manually. Still seized at the transmission. So I'm assuming full transmission rebuild anyone have any ideas about what it could be?

Your clutch system isnt leaking fluid causing disengagement issues, is it?

Make sure its got fluid in it

It's got fluid in it. And I figured it out. One of the shifter forks broke inside the transmission. Time to rip out the transmission.

Does it have a short thorw shifter without a stopper or .something? Or just shifting like a gorilla? Lol
