Re: new setup
Nice, how much boost? 26-28psi?
|
Re: new setup
very fun numbers! always loved the spool-up of the E316g's. what are you planning to do next?
|
Re: new setup
Nice numbers and glad to hear that you're happy with it!

Re: new setup
Clutch... hahaha still on the stock one and is starting to slip.
Then we will see. If the head gasket goes headstuds cams and a head gasket. Other then that nothing really. |
Re: new setup
Nice! Toss some cams in that bad boy and a fresh clutch :D
|
Re: new setup
Nice. So the whining you were talking about in first was the clutch. Lmk if you need help repalcing it. I think I've done enough clutches now.
|
Re: new setup
Sounds good man. I haven't decided if i am going to take it in for the clutch or just do it myself.

Re: new setup
The shop wants 500 for install. Well I might take you up on that offer. I just need to pick up the clutch. I am going to go with a ACT2100 with a 6 puck sprung disk. Also I am going to replace the diff fluids as well. Ill give you a call when I get the clutch and set up a time.

Re: new setup
Sounds good you could also do the stage 4 comp 6 puck sprung clutch kit, save a little bit of more money. Make sure you grab an OEM throw out bearing too. Probably
save enough to even get cams! Just lmk whats up |
Re: new setup
ACT 6 puck unsprung, if you plan on making more power down the road.
|
Re: new setup
clutchnet sprung 6puck ftw
|
Re: new setup
I vote ACT or Comp 6 puck sprung.

For people who really DRIVE their cars. I take it you've never broken a spring from the sprung center? |
Re: new setup
Sprung clutch would be fine for the power he has now. By the time down the road comes he'll need a new one anyways.
Do a sprung less chatter and better drivability IMO |
Re: new setup
It will be a sprung one for sure. I still want good drivabilty because the car is daily driven.
tonight was the last straw. Raced a brand new 5.0 mustang and on the 3rd run clutch just let go. I can still drive it just no more pulls. Oh, and i won by a car each time... :) I am loving this thing |
Re: new setup
damn. nice work.
|
Re: new setup
Glad to hear your ripping it! But looks like I may see you sooner than later lol
