Ebay Turbo Kit?
 

I know alot of people will probably flame me for this but, I am new to the DSM's and I own a 98 GSX (Motors blown and out) And a 1995 GS (daily driver). I have been throwing around the idea of turboing my GS just to give it some more power. The car has Cams, Cam Gears, Header, 3'' Exhaust, Short throw shifter, Lowered, 17'' BBS Wheels, Clutch is weak so Id change this at the same time. I wasn't looking to go balls out on power, I just want something with a little more get up. I looked at going all motor, But that still wont give me the power I wanted for as much as I can go turbo for. I guess my question is, Sell my Header/Exhaust, Subs, Amps, Cap and purchase this ebay Turbo kit? Anyone had any issues/luck with these?

I found this one, It'd still require me to have a down pipe fabbed up but I can do that or have it done... Its 679.00 for the kit, I know people have had problems with them couplers before and my buddy had them on his subaru and it kept blowing them off.... If I upgrade them immediately, Would this be my best bang for the buck?

Like I said, I know very little about DSM's and all my buddies drive V8s... So I am kinda the outcast of them an no one really wants to help build "rice" as they say.... Please let me know. Thank you.

I say do it. Iam sure you can find a better kit on ebay that has a down pipe. iam sure the turbo will be the first thing to fail. But you should try it out. Its only 700 bucks.

Take that 700$ and put it in your GSX

Don't waste your time modding the 420a any more than it already is

agreed 7 towards the GSX and get it running. Keep the N/A for D/D purposes or seel once GSX is running and use that money to to into the GSX
