help with 2g GSX brakes
 

I have a 2g GSX that has been in the shop for a year waiting for me to find a passenger rear axle shaft. I found one - but switched shops mid-repair. Now the new shop is trying to put it back together and the brake pads don't appear to sit correctly on the rotor.

Enclosed is a picture of how much the pads overhang the rotor. Can this be right?

Looks like they're trying to put the pads and caliper bracket from an early 2g with vented rear rotors on without the vented rotors.

Bingo! You the man!

My GSX was born on 5/3/94 and has the vented rear rotors (AC Delco 18A734, Mitsubishi MR128661). Carquest is getting me a pair from Chicago by Friday. The last shop stole my rotors when they got evicted from their shop and my car got towed.

Now I can sell my AWD baby...
