In another 2-3 weeks I will be trying to hit up a few track days before the snow flies.

Good luck though Friday, hopefully you do a new personal best!

It is one hour further but for the test and tune at rock use to be $69 and cfr is $25 so $44 to cover the gas it takes to drive 2 hour to have much better track.

It's also 23 miles past my AAA coverage and I'd hate to break something as stupid as an axle and not have a spare traveling that far.

How did it go?

Re: CFR ANYONE?

Track hooked way to fucking hard I made 4 passes and couldn't come out of the hole. I change how much boost and 2 step rpm and best 60 was 1 .889 and went 10.4@146.

I looked at the logs and I left on 16psi of boost at 7k and dumped the clutch and pulled the rpm Down to 3857 and 3psi.

Maybe it was all driver error.

Re: CFR ANYONE?

Sounds like you are going to these other shitty tracks changing settings for there, then going back to the house of hook and its completely different.

Lame.

800whp in a tin can with slicks and you're still stuck in the 10s.:bf_nonew:

Never herd anyone say a track hooked to hard before. I need to get down there.

Have you tryed slipping the clutch. I always left off the 2-step and let the clutch out like I was taking off from a stop light. Let it out quick till it starts to engage then slip it the rest of the way out keeping the rpm up and controlling wheelspin. my best 60ft my clutch chattered so bad I thought something broke.

Car made 689 with the little Turbo but like I said before let me know when you want to race cause I'd bet my 1/8 MPH is what you'd trap in the 1/4!:sasmokin:

I also switched turbos a few days ago. So I really don't have a time for my car now.

Never said I wanted you to eat dinner with me. Just buy it. ;)

Funny you were just at Mad Jacks but you're in Texas? Guess you're just too cool for RF.
