Last night cruising down the road, the car started to act up at higher RPMs, started missing and whatnot. Well trying to push past the misfire I ended up loosing boost and looked in my mirror and saw a HUGE cloud of smoke. Like I couldnt see the car that was 15ft behind me. Got it back to the shop and found this...

We may make a plate that bolts on where the center section bolts to the exhaust housing and block it off and run it up there NA. Just a thought

I don't think Nick's turbo would bolt up. Doesn't that 3575 have the EWG right on the turbine housing?

Out of all my Mitsu's the only one that wasn't broke down for the cookout was the ratty Scummit

Hmm, did you buy it from FP direct? Or is it a used one? FP is pretty good about warranty work, but they even hooked me up pricewise when I damaged my 3575 compressor wheel a few years ago.

I got it second hand. I was looking for a cheap option at the time and that came up. I should have rebult it but it was only sposta last a short while anyways, just not this short.

Probably wasnt torqued down correctly as well as balanced and did you use a thread locker? Tighten that back up unless your compressor whell is really messed up. I have a big 16g compressor wheel if it would fit, was thinking of modding my 14b though. stick it back in there and dont boost:)

Make sure you remove your intake pipes and intercooler, and pressure wash them out to make sure no metal chunks get sucked down your motor!
