Better late than never, right? I should have posted this up a week or two ago but forgot about it... Hopefully a lot of you can make it. Last year there was over 100 cars that showed up to the first meet of the year, and it's expected to be even bigger this year. If you want a good place to park don't be afraid to show up early. All makes and models are welcome.

sweeeeeeeet, thats like 3 miles from my house. take 94 north (like going to KK) get off at the same exact, cept take a left and go across the bridge. follow that road for 4-5 miles until it turns into a T. turn left, and the park is your first right and it is VERY soon after the turn. like 100 feet.

I should be there too, and my car better be working by then... maybe not tuned but working at least and drivable.

Brian - it's the same location as the MN-DSM meet was 2 years ago. Pretty simple to find once you get up there, I think there are signs.

If it's nice we might swing down and look at the cars.

i haven't been home for awhile, but i really don't remember 94 being north/south in the maple grove area. I thought it went east/west and 494 went north/south. Do you guys do it at that big parking lot that is a couple miles past that target? if so, that is like 5 minutes from where i grew up! crazy. if anyone knows where mama g's is, we lived kitty corner from that place in that establishment called Village of Rush Creek!

First post edited, including link to a map since most of you didn't read past the first post of the linked thread. :razz2:

Some general guidelines to follow if you show up:

Few requests, dont show up any earlier than Noon. It will take a bit to get things up and organized and we dont want to have people there too early. Actually come fashionably late and you'll be on time.  Also repsect the club and how we do things.

Few Basic Rules:
1. No Squeeling tires, racing, typical car bullshit.
2. No unlawful substances. Park Rangers and local PD will be doing drive throughs.
3. If a Sr. Member asks you to leave...dont be pissed. Just leave and we can move to the net and E-thug it out...act like your going to grandma's but will get to hear better stories.
4. No alcohol. This is a dry event.

Cliff notes: Don't act like a dumbass ricer.

DSMPARTSGURU 05-20-2004 10:00 AM

A//// Guy 05-20-2004 10:03 AM

If a bunchof people plan to go then we should all meet somewhere or park together... but I dont know how that would go.

Halon 05-20-2004 10:49 AM

no alcohol?

A//// Guy 05-22-2004 12:53 PM

Does anyone plan on going? Its supposed to be rainy and crappy so Im not sure.

Matt D. 05-22-2004 01:11 PM

The event is rain or shine. I'll be there regardless. I'm meeting a couple people at Porky's around 10:30-11:00am on Sunday. Meet up there if any of you want and we can head up together.

Kracka 05-22-2004 01:26 PM

I might be down for an hour or 2.

JDM 05-23-2004 04:34 AM
