Re: Need help with tuning
Please space that crap out or no-one will help.
You will need more fuel to run that turbo at a decent level. What is WG pressure? |
Re: Need help with tuning
All I know is it a 38mm wastage and 17 psi or so
|
Re: Need help with tuning
What MAF? Hacked or not?
Which injectors? Which tuning system? |
Re: Need help with tuning
stock maf and what do you mean by hacked?? 650 injectors and the tuning system is dsmlink v2.5
|
Re: Need help with tuning
By hacked I mean honeycombs removed, calibration screwed moved or plastic cut out.
You should be able to take a stock tune, set the global fuel to -30% and the deadtime to 300 and start and drive the car fine, just don't go boosting it like crazy yet. If it doesn't run decent with those settings, then something is wrong with the car. |
Re: Need help with tuning
its not hacked then lol sorry shane still a newbe at tuning. what if i'm still running the stock 450 injectors what should i do with the fuel global and dead time. and just the other day i had an check engine light that came up something about close loop and something about checking air line and that its not hooked up or lose. there is nothing lose i checked everything already and the close loop i have no idea what it is.

Re: Need help with tuning
If you are on the stock 450s, then you shouldn't have to do anything. If should run fine with a stock tune. That closed loop error could be caused by a bad o2 sensor, a boost/vacuum leak, bad coolant temp sensor reading.

Re: Need help with tuning
Oh really cool how many psi can I go up to trying to stay on the safe side here right now Its sitting at 5psi. And trust me won't boost it up crazy without a good tune lol thanks.

Re: Need help with tuning
and what will be the stock tune be with air, fuel, timing, and ect.. if you can help that wil be great too..
|
Re: Need help with tuning
With the stock tune, all the sliders will be zeroed out. You should be able to run up to around 12psi on the stock tune on pump gas as long as everything with the car is fine and you don't run out of injectors or fuel pump.
