rotor / rim spacer?

Im missing some sort of plastic spacer that goes around the center portion of the rotor that allow my wheels to be center on the rotor... I only have one on the back. Anyone know what this is? And where to find my size?

Re: rotor / rim spacer?

They are called hubcentric rings. Stock rims are made to fit around the hub of the car. Aftermarket wheels typically come with a larger bore size so they can fit multiple car types. The ring centers the wheel around the hub and also allows the wheel to correctly carry the weight of the car.

To find the size you need, go here -> http://adaptitusa.com/referencebook.htm

You can find them online by searching google, or call a local Discount Tire.

Figured someone from a tire shop would know... I get slight shaking from not having these in @ around 65-70mph then fades away. there slightly off and knock the lug nuts loose....either way in this case im looking at the center bore of 67.1? Thank you for the reply!

Re: rotor / rim spacer?

Get some before you shear off your wheel studs and send a wheel flying into another car. Most cars made for sale in the US are made with the hub bearing the weight of the car. If you have aftermarket wheels without the rings, the lugs bear the weight of the car - which they are not made for.
