A bit too far of a drive for my liking but I can get discounted detailing supplies at the 3M company store if anyone is interested. We acquired Meguiar's so I have access to both 3M and Meguiar's products-- microfiber towels, washes, waxes, etc etc.

Take some before and after pics of the cars when they get detailed. Sounds like fun.

If I'm not working that day I could probably swing over with my buffer and help people shine up their cars, But I don't have anything myself that's worth shining up.

We are down the car is up and running and i don't believe we have any other plans for this day.
I think there is a car show that I want to hit up earlier in the day, but we can for sure join you in the afternoon.

I totally want to wash, wax and maybe even claybar. Whatever I can do to make this thing look good.

Awesome Aaron, glad to see you are planning on making it down, take your time.

One week to go, folks, go time to get those last minutes touches in.. maybe just hangout and swim.. Should be a good time. Seem like yesterday, but last year, helping Michael shine up the evo x for a first place trophy. Talked to Mark, and he plans on bring the evo x down for a repeat. Woot!

I'm in, selling my spot at the airport run, car's not in any condition to do that right now. Sitting there and looking shiny, however, game on!

I would be interested, my brother is having a baby shower that day with the wife and I need a reason to get out of the house. I would be interested in using the lift and power wasing the underside of my car and then spraying some rubber coating spray if that would be cool.
So show up with the keg's at 10am?

Heck yeah, you may use the lift for some underside spraying. Bring on the keg!

Love to make it! But Saturday night is all booked up. If it opens up, well make the treck down to chill. You arent too far from us now, compared to the rest of the cities. :)

I'll probably be detailing that whole time... my car is a mess right now, and I know I won't be able to come close to the job I did on the car for last year. And being out of 105/205 right now doesn't help...

I got scheduled to work Sunday, so I won't be able to come help out.

I'd like to try and make it down there if I can. I've polished & waxed my car about 3 months ago but I know it could have had a better job done on it and I'd appreciate getting advice on it. The problem is we're committed to a picnic earlier in the day. It's supposed to start at 10am so hopefully I can sneak out around mid-afternoon...

Scheides, I planned on buying some brats, potato salad, chips, and soda. You can bring some beer or some captain" id be a happy camper. :) Definitely bring your swim suits, sunscreen, towels, if you plan on swimming. We have plenty of lawn chairs on hand and possibly if motivated could start a fire in the pit at night and roast a few marsh-mellows.

For detailing supplies bring whatever you are comfortable using, there will be some detailing supplies on hand for anyone that wants to try some different products. We have different compounds, waxes, clay bar, micro fiber towels, and spray waxes. Thinking of it, we could use some more applicator pads for wax.

My car is pretty clean all the time , so I am volunteering to help detail cars for anyone that needs it.

*Other Notes: For those that don't know it, this will be hosted at my parents home, not my personal home. It is in the country and very nicely setup for parties and working on cars, if you saw my personal garage (super tiny) you would know why I have all my stuff there. ;) The only thing I ask is that you please drive slowly and quietly once on 180th St.(this is the only road you need to take it easy on) as the neighborhood doesn't see much traffic. Important: Please come on 180th St. from Joan Ave (aka. County Road 89), if approach 180th any other way you will be driving on GRAVEL !!

Shawn
