Re: Getting started
Alright guys got the turbo back but when primo welded it, it cracked on the inside of the hot side where it bolts up to the manifold i brought it back to them and all they told me was they cant do anything. I was piss off but what can i do it is an used turbo and you never know what could happen. Other then that primo did a good job thanks. Anyways so i bought some thermo heat seal and did some patching on it hopes it works or at less slow down the cracking a little lol. Will post up some picture soon.

Re: Getting started
Primo has lost quite a bit of popularity here lately. Why were the welding the turbo? Did it crack during welding, or after welding while in-use?

The crack in the turbine housing was there before I even touched the turbo, it was a hairline crack inside the exhaust housing in a badly cast portion of the the turbo, it wasn't noticeable until when it was welded the oil and carbon dissipated from the crack showing it up, if it was a clean fresh crack I would have known it cracked after the welds, I would love to have been able to fix this problem but it is a used part that had cracked before, thanks for the kind words, and like I said please if there's anything I can do for any of you please just let me know, Jesse- |
