Holy crap was that fun...

I took 3rd and tied with Laura (2003Eclipse's Girlfriend) for 3rd, and Bob Viau Jr with Auto Edge Racing (porsche) took 2nd place.

And of course that POS stock Si which now has a Carbon fiber hood and altezza's wins it all. He also owns a 2003 SVT Cobra. Nice, to say the least.

A great time was had, and much beer was consumed. My parents even bought us all pizza, food the night before, and had breakfast ready at 8 am. Not bad, most all of it was free!

On the way home, I and Joe, in my car, came up on a Mustang GT. He threw down right away, and took off, and I hung right with him until 5th gear, then he crept. We got going, and I shut down. He keeps going, and about 1/4 mile later, "WARNING, K-a ALERT!", so I just hit the brakes hard.

Well I guess the guy in the Mustang didn't see the State Trooper in time or something. My best estimate, the Mustang was still going about 100. Owned.

So if any of you know a kid with a Maroon Mustang GT (probably auto), that got a HUGE ticket this weekend, send him my apologies. :toast:

PS, You all missed a great show. :secret:

Jana 05-15-2004 11:00 PM

Well, I'm glad you guys had fun. I feel bad for missing the show.

JDM 05-15-2004 11:07 PM

Jana, Robin (one of the coordinators), and three other randoms asked for you by name, and countless by your car. You are a living legend. :bounce:

Jana 05-15-2004 11:59 PM

See, I couldn't go knowing I had that to live up to. :( That's pretty cool though. Guess my car was really a hit last year. :D

JustROLLIN 05-16-2004 12:34 AM

Definitely a fun time. The car show was great. As usual VERY cool people there. Always want to talk to us about the import scene and share a beer. And about the Mustang, he may have won the battle, but we definitely won the war.

JDM 05-16-2004 08:24 AM

I think the common theme from everyone there was, "I'm glad to see you younger gals and guys gettin into the game, one way or another...".

And let me know if any of you are at a Car show with a guy named "bob" who has a 53 Buick, and also owns an 04 GTO. Coolest guy there!

JustROLLIN 05-16-2004 01:15 PM

I gotta disagree with ya. The guy who had the SVT Cobra and 16 other cars was the coolest guy there. For being rich and having a fleet of cars he was really modest and really cool.

AJ 05-16-2004 01:20 PM

The only thing that sounds like it sucked was the gay Si again.

JustROLLIN 05-16-2004 09:06 PM

Damn AJ were you there and we just didn't see you? Cause you could not be MORE RIGHT! The guy's mullet was longer and to top it off he brought a mustang and his Si this year. Although his Cobra was nice. Dont tell him that.

JDM 05-16-2004 09:35 PM

They also told us to "Take it easy on the grass this year". Funny shit

Mr Raced 05-17-2004 10:16 AM

Crazy people, its only grass it will grow back

Oh i definatley have to agree I bullshited with the guy for a good twenty minutes and he was into every type of car hes kept every car he has bought that he thought was cool. Including the one and only automatic 2001 saleen he found by a fluke ran the vin number through saleen and the car was 1 of 1.
Oh mullet Madness what a tool.
Yeah after the awards ceromony the guy on the mic spoke up and said please take it easy on the grass this year.
Got sunburnt and drunk off my ass and almost a broken ankle from bowling 12 pound ball to the ankle Thanks JustRollin.
On the way home we had a mini van try to run us off the road twice g/f friend was bored so started to speed van moves in our lane so we swerve around him and he comes back into the right lane side to side running us on to the shoulder, about a mile down the road he caught up gets along side of us and did it again. Well road rage almost got that guy killed if he would have gotten off the road i would have followed him home and showed him a thing or two. Anyone see a Green Ford Windstar with a gray hood let me know.

Jakey 05-17-2004 01:40 PM

Sounds like the show went well overall Kiel. I apologize for not making it up there, I had some things come up at home that I had to help my parents with.

JustROLLIN 05-17-2004 09:51 PM

Joey,

I totally forgot about the bowling ball until you mentioned it just now. Sorry about that, but it was Rice Boy's fault.
