Looks like a pretty standard looking 16g car...

Thing moves out though!

10.1:1, 2.0L, Curt Brown Head, shep stg. 4 trans.

These new wave of guys are the shit, they put quality parts into their cars and listen to the OGs that have been doing this for a while.

oh yeah, he has more room for boost it was only seeing 30psi max.

only 30psi! heck how much can these 16G's put out?I thought that 28-30psi was the most they are capable of? Or am i mistaken. I am seriously considering a 16G set up. . .instead of a bigger sized turbo. They are fun quick spool nice power band ect.

IMO there becomes a point where extra boost does nothing for airflow because of the skyrocketing backpressure.

That seems crazy light for a 2g. I thought my 2g was pretty light at 28xx.

Car looks nice while going that fast too, those guys did some nice work.

Didn't a 16G FWD already go 9's like 8 years ago?

IDK if this is a record or anything, just a DSM going fast. I found this in the shoutbox on some other board posted by a style member....seems like nobody posts stuff here unless its like uber world record shit....post more car vids guys! This is the kind of stuff that belongs here!

Looks like gearning probably had a lot to do with that trap speed. I wonder what actually passes as a '16g' these days?

Maybe including a heavy driver. 2600 is still plenty heavy.

I used to run a 37psi spike.

I agree, but you have to remember the other airflow mods too. Dyno said my 37psi spike to 27-28psi was good for more TQ mostly and a little HP.

Sorry, I'm lazy at the internet.

I think people don't consider Joe Bucci's record a street car record.

This "brick" guy isn't hiding anything and he usually answers any question you ask of him. Turbo is a standard E316G.

I think I need to find a nice E316G.
