My father's new DD
As some of you noticed on Facebook, my father picked up a new DD, it's some weird blue hatchback thing, and I'm not sure what to make of it, so on with the pictures!

I'm not gonna lie though, it's fun, and it actually handles pretty good for a Subi. It might get a build thread depending on what all he decides to do with it, but I can guarantee it'll be at the next dyno day. I tried to push him to an Evo but there're no decent Xs for sale right now and he needed to replace his old DD that got bought back under a safety recall last week. |
Re: My father's new DD
Shoulda made him get one of the newer Sportback Ralliarts!

Re: My father's new DD
Nice and not bad at all! beats a 10 year old DD. Those Ralliarts are pretty nice too!

Re: My father's new DD
Awesome! Now get that mod list from the dude with the white one that we saw up at BIR and go to town :D

Re: My father's new DD
Very nice car. What did your dad have before that they bought back?

Re: My father's new DD
Very nice! Adam from MAP bought a 2010 STI hatchback and I've ridden around in it a few times with him; nice car indeed and it should make for an excellent DD.
My suggestions are to get a good conservative tune on that thing ASAP along with a few simple bolt-ons and some shifter bushings. |

Nice ride,
Make sure he installs a cobb short shifter and that thing will be friggen impervious to falling trees : http://jalopnik.com/5786877/how-a-mo...ed-three-lives |
Re: My father's new DD

EDIT: I should also note that he's looking to have the hood painted to get rid of all the rock chips and then having a clear bra applied. And I need hydraulic hood props, his are making me really jealous. |
Re: My father's new DD
Yeah I like that story, I shared it with SOA when they posted it. Not sure if they decided to do anything with it.

Re: My father's new DD
Did you mess with the pictures to make the STI logos not look pink? LOL Or is this some special "non breast cancer awareness" edition STI? :-)

Re: My father's new DD
It's the bike rack power adder! That's where the extra power is coming from!! Looks good man!

Re: My father's new DD
Y U NO RAISE BOOST!? Holly shit the afr is horseshit stock, lucky it didn't blow up already!
Tell your dad to get some more mods and up the boost a bit, I want a ride! :D |
