Do one cam at a time, use antisieze on the threaded rod to remove tension. I just did cams yesterday on my evo and it was a lot easier than I expected for my first time. Just take your time and torque everything to spec

Remove tension a bit zip tie/adhere belt to gears, pull off gears swap cams, put gears back on an voila new cams installed in under an hour and timing is dead on.

Make sure arrows are where they need to be, dowel pins are UP and tighten your new bolts if you are putting in adjustable cam gears.

Don't forget to bleed your hydraulic lifters or you "could" bend valves
