Welded rear diff

I was wondering if anybody has welded there rear end in there dsm? I have a 3 bolt lsd in my car now. I was wondering if welding it so it was posi all time if that would make it stronger? I plan on doing a 4 bolt after this one bites the dust. I was just wondering if anybody has done it or recomends doing it.

ive had a welded rear diff. it blows hardcore. it will make any kind of tight-ish turn feel like garbage.

also the week point in the rear end isnt the differential, its the axles.

Exactly. And the LSD rear in our cars is actually pretty decent.
