Just for Fun: 1941 chevy
So if you have been to Primo in the past couple months you may have seen my car a 1941 chevy 2 door sedan. I wanted to do something different and since I grew up working on street rods I started with this car but instead of putting in a 350/th350 for the drive train like everyone else out there I went with 4g63/t-56. It should be interesting to see peoples reactions. I've been slowly working on it and thought I would start a project thread. So far the chassis has a mustang 2 kit for the front suspension, and a rear end from a s-10. The short block has Eagle rods Wiseco pistons, and head is stock so far. I will be making custom intake and exhaust manifolds to fit the engine bay. so here we go...

Re: Just for Fun: 1941 chevy
Badass! Leaving the body as-is for a rat-rod effect, or are you going to be cleaning that up too? I love it, keep us updated!

Re: Just for Fun: 1941 chevy
I have always wanted to do a rat rod with a 4g63 this should be a cool project.

Re: Just for Fun: 1941 chevy
*I THINK* From what I know about Nick, this will not be a "rat rod" but more so a traditional style hot rod!
We're talking gloss and chrome, baby! He can chime in. |
Re: Just for Fun: 1941 chevy
If its anything like buschurs old school ride with the evo setup in it, this will be sick.

that's awesome.

Re: Just for Fun: 1941 chevy
It won't be a rad rod, everyone keep telling me I should do that when they see the body in the state it's in but what I envisioned was a street rod in the sense of a nice looking car but with a little twist!
