1991 Galant VR4
Well, due to a job change I am moving back home and can not take this with me. So here it is back up again.
1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR4. 4G63T 2.0 liter 16g w/evo 3 exhaust mani. Hallman Pro MBC JDM Galant VR4 Trans AWD I am sure you guys know the basics. Here is a small list of little things I have done. Emissions Delete, EGR Delete, Cruise Control Delete, AEM boost and wideband gauge-wideband sensor not installed yet. BUt is included. Autometer water and oil pressure gauges. Just bought these. still gotta get sensors for them. Palm Data logger Kenwood radio with polk Audio speakers. Front strut bar. I cant think of much else right now as far as things I have done. Car does need some minor work. Paint is bad, and the front edge of the hood is dented. Otherwise there is just a couple small dings on the passenger side. I have not found any rust yet. But will be getting it up on a lift this week to check it out more. Also the interior has some flaws. Mainly the seams on the leather seats. The drivers seat is coming apart and one spot on the upper part of the rear seat. Other thing is the car does not produce heat. It warms up and does not overheat but still no heat from heater. I have not been able to dig into it to see what it is yet. Just wanted to let anyone know. I am looking to sell this car fairly quick. So there are some options as far as pricing. AS is with everything I have-including another 6 bolt head-$2400. Will sell for $2000 without the AEM boost and wideband, Hallman Pro, and kenwood cd player. I will install another boost gauge and MBC so the car is good to drive. For any questions feel free to text or call 701-471-3482. I am willing to deliver as far as Fargo. http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0691.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0690.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0689.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0688.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0687.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0686.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0685.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0684.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0683.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0682.jpg http://i665.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/SAM_0681.jpg |

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Well, It may or may not go. Really depends on if I get an offer on it. I did get some good news today when coming into work so it may not have to go. I just gotta see if they are really gonna pull through for me here.

Relisting this as a job change has forced me to sell it.

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
all the quirks worked out?

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Only thing left I am working on is the not getting heat through the heater. I think I listed that. Otherwise everything else is. That TPS I got from ya solved the hesitation problem I was having instantly. And after putting it in it just seems like it drives so much better. Thanks again for that man.

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Your welcome and Im interested. Just have to check on some stuff

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Thats cool man. I for sure will see if there are any more bugs here in the next two days. I am gonna be using the car to transport empty sandbags across town. Gonna be a lot of driving, but well worth the cause.

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
I can vouch that Brian is a super nice guy to work with. Great communication and he wont just leave ya hangin.
Good luck selling the car Brian. |
Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Well, I really dont wanna sell the car, but it looks like I am gonna be moving back home. And I am gonna need the money to do that.
Also. I wanted to list the car here so it had a chance to go to someone that could finish what I started and make it an awesome driver. That way it wasn't going to just some punk kid that wants a turbo car and get destroyed. |
Re: 1991 Galant VR4
After driving the car so much today I am feeling a vibration on decel. Kinda feels like something with the driveshaft. I am pretty sure it would be a combo of carrier bearing/u joints that might need to be replaced. Dropping price by $200.
So $2200 now with everything, $1800 with the other stuff taken off. Also considering trades. Would like to get into another Subaru of similar value or condition. |
Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Was doing some rewiring for the door speakers today, and took a look at the ECU. It had the caps replaced and is an Eprom ECU. So its good to go for just about anything.

Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Offers??
would trade for a Subaru Legacy or impreza. Preferably a wagon, and a five speed but would take an automatic. |
Re: 1991 Galant VR4
Okay. Car has a vibration in the driveshaft when on Decel and in gear. Also just yesterday it seems like the Slave or master cylinder is starting to mess up. I took the car to the post office yesterday and when I first went out and started it I had no problems. BUt when leaving the post office it would not go into gear when the car was running. I shut the car off, go in and out of gear, and it works fine. Has only done it one other time since than.
Also I ended up selling the wideband and Boost gauge out of it. but everything else listed still comes with it. In light of these issues, and needing to move. Price is now $1700 OBO. |
