What We Have Been Up To...
 

We have a few projects on our hands lately and here is one of them.
Custom wiring harness.
5.7l out of a 2005 CTS-V

We wanted to get rid of all the wires that were no longer needed and also move the ECU from the drivers side fender to the inside of the car. It has taken a couple days working on it on and off but it is coming together very well. Here are some pictures I took with my cell while working on it.

The harness still needs to be loomed. The interior part needs to be gone through and wires shortened as well as re-pinning the ECU.

(The type of car is not listed at this time for a reason)

Holy crap. Mad props for tackling yet another wiring project. I wish I had the patience for that stuff. Looks great though!

I believe I know that car, I'm assuming it had an RB in it before? Either way, nice work.

Yes it did have an RB. His friend was taking care of the interior wiring. I took on the task of rewiring the motor.

wow its come a long way, not to long ago the motor was on a stand next to the car haha, the customer will have plenty of torque now

You need to get rid of all that tape and use some loom.

Most factory harnesses have tape under and over the wire loom.

This harness was taped like noones business before. I like to wrap all the wires under the loom. Added insurance I guess. Idk it's just how I like to do it.

Looks like a super clean install. What is this in? I assume with the talk of an RB, it's a 240?
