wining on acce and grinding on decel
 

well my car had done this since i owned it but it recently has started to get worse.. there is a quite loud grinding noise coming from my rear end or maybe t-case, is this normal for a 20 year old dsm? i havent checked the rearend fluid, but the tcase has new fluid and is good. its also got a new yoke and seal("the repair kit"). Another thing im wondering is whats a good tranny fluid to make my tranny shift easier, idk what primo put in but it does not like to shift at all, i had penzoil syncomesh in before and it seemed to work quite well i just wanted to get some opinions.

Sounds similar to the sounds my rear diff was making when the bearing went out.

I would check all fluids first. It could be a lot of things. Rear diff, t case, or tranny. You could jack the car up and put it in gear and located the problem.

its like when i accel it sounds like a strait cut gear box, but its not coming from the tranny its coming form behind me, and on decel its a loud grinding, but it only happens above cirten speeds/rpms. i dont have anyway of getting the car off all 4 wheels either
