Huge pictures just for detail... the first picture you have to scroll around but youll find the chunk...So i'm hearing funky noices only doing warm up from the head... In picture 1 that really scares me, i'm unsure where that is coming from......crankwalk........!!!!!!!??????

I'd normally ban someone for pictures that huge, but there is a cigar ad in the background so you pass for now.

That chunk in the first picture almost looks like a piece of a turbo thrust bearing.

FUNNY? first time doing these bearings anyway. Only reason why i did them because i heard a knock only at 3k rpm. I installed acl race bearings, lubed, and torq'd, ive but on 300+ miles since and still runs like a champ, not bulding a 7 bolt just giving her more time to run so i can swap my 6 bolt

He's laughing because 'turning a crank' means machining it, not actually flipping it 180° so you can get the other two rods. With as worn as the bearings look, the crank is probably in rough shape.

Aren't you supposed to measure clearances when you install new bearings?

I have a feeling you will be doing this again very soon....

let me know how the 700 mile mark goes for you, thats when my engine exploded that I rebuilt without turning the crank. Pics of the block hole are mandatory.
