Election results!

Who's happy? Who's sad? Who's going to go off themselves?

Overall I'm really happy with the way things turned out.

Happy: American public that is tired of how the last two years went.
Sad: American public that is happy how the last two years went.

Here comes the change train!

That's not possible. Only idiots make it to the higher levels of government.

True...I guess I am hoping for just a stalemate now where nothing happens...no government or I guess no changes is usually the best, at least in my eyes. Minus what happened these past two years, some change on that would be nice.

Sadly, this is kinda my thoughts as well. The best we can hope for is grid-lock...

Heres a nice FYI for you. Wow i cant wait for that to slam down to high job loss again.
You guys sat here and expected INSTANT freakin results. Nothing happens over night but its nice to see what can happen in two years. And this had NO.... NONE... NADA help from the Republicans.
Say good bye to your heathcare (Dropping people from having preexisting conditions, lifetime limits etc), Public Education (eliminating board of education, turning schools into a business), Medicare, Social Security, VA all can say goodbye. And if they dont raise the debt ceiling, say goodbye to the WORLD economy.
Can you guess how i feel about the Gov Now?

Re: Election results!

You really think the Obama administration had anything to do with the job loss going down? Or maybe the fact that no matter who is in power our economy corrects itself naturally regardless of how dumb the govt is.

What I am saying is that we could've had roger rabbit and the looney tune bunch in office and our economy would've gotten a little bit better over the last two years. Capitalism and the private sector will always correct itself as you have smart people making smart decisions and they can actually manage their money unlike the gov't that all they do is spend spend spend and tax us. The govt makes no money or jobs remember. They only give to people what they take from others.

Also there is a lag in those results...there is no way data like that would be real time, honestly it could be an entire term or more because of stupid ass laws that are passed and a number of other bs that happens world wide like natural disasters etc etc.

So that graph could be shifted 4 years and what we are seeing is all the shit that happened from Bushs last term. Either way a graph like that is totally inconclusive. I stand by my views that stuff like that happens independent of the govt. (job loss and job gain, the govt never helps jobs, they only hurt).

Ok heres some more graphs for you because obviously the first one didnt do it for you.

Now it will be very interesting to watch what happens in the House, and how it affects these graphs.

Re: Election results!

Sooo Bush was in office for 8 years but you only show a graph from the past year? lol yea thats relevant to his entire term.

Well see what that graph looks like in a couple years. Obama created a bunch of temp construction and road fix jobs that will expire in a year or so, once things are all built.

I laughed at this. Your funny... really you are.

Re: Election results!

You realize that the housing burst is all because of the dems right? And trying to make it a "right" to own a home and force banks to give out risky loans.

Regardless, I think almost all govt is dumb, dems or republicans...I am for sure conservative, but my previous post applies to these graphs too.

There is no way you can possibly think what Obama and his administration has done has caused some awesome economic growth by themselves if they did have any effect.

It's always spurred by us, the people, we decide our own fates...f the govt.
