1992 Lexus SC400, VERY clean, $3200 OBO
 

Well I am going to Hawaii for spring semester and would like to sell my DD before then. Its a dark blue 1992 Lexus SC400, has 184k on the clock but honestly looks and drives like it has 60k. Not a single spot of rust anywhere on the car, paint is very good, and would be excellent with a buff. You could eat off the engine if you so choose. I have the maintenance records all the way up to when it was bought new, and if I am not mistaken, the car has an autocheck score it the low to mid 90's. I could verify this for the buyer.

Right now the car sits on stock rims with good Pirelli snow tires, and even though it is RWD, the car does just fine in the snow because of the awesome Lexus traction control. I just put a brand new Napa battery in it, so there will be no problems there. Mechanically the car is great, has the 1UZ-FE 4.0L V8 so it should go to 300 or 400k without any major problems. Hell, even if you did have problems, a low mileage 1UZ engine only runs $250-350 at most scrapyards.

The interior is tan leather, very clean, the only problem would be the normal wear on the drivers seat. It is not terrible, I have seen much worse in other SCs.

The only problems the car has are:
-Driver seat wear (not horrible)
-Tach motor just went out ($20 part)
-Can't read the climate control (Happens to every SC at some point, $50 fix but you can still operate everything just fine)
-Minor paint scratches (Most will come out with buff)
-Could use front brake pads

I am looking to get $3200 for it, but make offers. I am willing to do trades, but any trade would have to be clean (no rust, good paint), and I am only interested in sports cars, DSMs, etc. I am not looking for a project. I can add accordingly as well if you have something a bit nicer. Car is in Minneapolis, call me at 218-330-1398 to take a look at it.

Bump for price drop. Still best offer. Also, this thing has actually been getting around great in the snow, traction control works great and the snow tires have lots of grip.

Spring bump, price reduction. No miles have been put on the car in the past 5 months. Also looking for a modded DSM, or other clean and interesting sports cars. Can add a bit if necessary. PM or text me with offers.

It gets about 20 mpg while driving around the cities.
