Sigh.

Yea. Right. Cause everyone feels better when they see people pulled over constantly. :jackoff:

I also liked this comment:

I recently called Edina PD to report help needed for two stranded motorists along northbound 100, near the old high school. The motorists were sitting on the curb, with their car parked along the shoulder.
Less than a 1/2 mile down the road, also on NB 100, was an Edina cop pulled way up onto the right shoulder, hiding behind a bridge overpass, with his radar out.
In reply to my call, Edina PD said they'd relay the help request to the Minnesota State Patrol, since 100 is a State Hwy...even though one of their own officers was literally just down the road...and even though State Patrol coverage can get spread pretty thin.
An unfortunate response, as stranded vehicles are a potential traffic hazard, and the sooner the better for response. It seems Edina PD are all too happy to look at a state highway as a revenue resource, but much less interested in assisting with safety along the same roadway.

I really think any police cars that say, "To Protect And Serve" on them need to take that shit off, because that is not their main mission anymore, it hasn't been for quite some time.

The police force is a revenue generating "business" for a city now a days. How else are they going to pay their 51 officers out there, on the grind everyday, keeping the tough streets of Edina in check...

Haha, Edina on 100 has always had a ton of cops on it. I always speed through it anyway but there is a famous trap near like 60th street as you come down the hill going south.

I dunno why but Edinas one of my favorite cities around here, the southdale area is nice.

Lol, the southdale area is lame. It's retirement homes, a shopping mall, some office buildings and a hospital and needless to say, over policed.

Not to get too "dead prez" here, but B-man is right on. The police department is a subsidized corporation, just like a big farm. Except these farm hands can put anyone in jail or just kill you. That's cool.

The shopping malls and restaurants are mainly what I like, the Theatre too. I like the new St Louis park West end area too.

I am def a yuppie. :)

Although I do say F the police, especially the water police!

Yeah Southdale is my main mall and theater, the IMAX there is off the chain. I'll just have to take the back ways from south there and back.

cough cough i hope my late night cruises dont have nothing to do with this. If anything people need to learn to drive through the construction zone at not 15miles under the speed limit!

What I don't understand is why adrian peterson got a speeding ticket? What assholes! They can't give a minnesota icon a break? All I know is if I pulled over adrian, and I'm not a pig by the way, not matter how fast he was going I would ask for tickets and a jersey and send him on his way. And edina is over-rated, a mall and a few buildings=edina.
