Doesn't seem too bad but I am looking for opinions? :stick:

Looks decent. Does give you the end tanks to do short route piping. It's not as thick as some of the others I have seen but otherwise it's a nice sixed front mount.

Looks like heatsoak waiting to happen, but I bet it's pretty efficient. For a drag car only application it may be pretty damn good.

I got mine off ebay. It looks great works fine and was an extruded tube/fin design. I didnt get mine from that guy though, but was looking at his.

Also you can get Cores with and without end tanks a bit cheaper as well. Depends on what you want to do with piping and whatnot as well.

It will be going on a drag only car FWD. I am looking to run high10s to low11s on a serious budget.

I just can't see spending $1200-$1500 on an I/C

Thanks for the input guys.

Probably not actually THAT bad. When I first looked at it I thought it was a tube and fin design. I read it and I guess its a bar and plate. Its thin though, and most of it is covered up by the bumper. Its also only about the same CI as the Buschur street core, which I have and tend to heatsoak pretty quickly at relatively low boost on the 50 trim.

On a race car you could deffinately get away with that IC.

My bumper cover is already cut out for a large "Race-Core" FMIC.

Hopefully the welds on the endtanks aren't too shitty.

Wierd. It says bar-and-plate in the description, but he also said it has rounded tubes, which are usually tube-and-fin or extruded tube. It sure doesn't look like a bar-and-plate from the pics. The core is a bit thin at only 2 7/8, but the 10.5" helps to somewhat make up for it. I really can't see that little core being used on a 900hp car. It isn't going to have a lot of flow area with those thin little tubes and at 2 7/8 x 10.5 it has overall flow area than a 3.5" x 8" Buschur street core. It would probably be rated for about 500hp, but you can often push things like that past it's rated numbers.

Anyways, the price is right and it should work for what you want. You can probably get the piping for it from SLS. SLS has a whole street core kit that you might want to check out also.

nothing beats my 4.25" thick front mount :bounce:

Not a bad price, but I don't think I would spend the cash without knowing for sure about the core and maybe ask them who made it if they will say. Like Allan mentioned, we can get cores that would put you comparable in price with end tanks made exactly like you want. SLS probably can hook you up pretty well also. At least in either of those cases, you could say how thick you wanted it to be and be more specific on the size.

Either way, I would email the seller and find out for sure what it is.
