What is a good FPR to use for -8 lines and e85?
 

I need an external fpr and plan on over 30 lbs of boost, so I was looking for recommendations from people on what they like based on first hand experiences. Needs to be -8 to match the feed line, unless people use smaller return lines.

I am using the a1000 with 8an fittings in it. Just need 6an to 8an thread in's. Got them at tnt in blaine.

A1000, -6 on the return..don't need it that big for the return. Mine was also ported a bit (was Josh's old one off his stealth)

I planned on using the stock feed line for the return, along with the stock return line, I figured that would be plenty. I just took the tank out and measured the stock pick up tube at a little less than 1/2" which is -8. SO, should I still use the stock lines as returns and just adapt up to fit the stock pick up tube, or try and run a 1/2" soft line all the way back? Seems easier and cheaper to do the stock line thing. Right?

it does..what is the I.D. of the stock returns? Mine is still a stock return..as stock return. :) Also, save yourself some money. I used the aluminum hard 1/2" lines/fittings for my fuel system. Cleaner to install, weighs less, and costs a fraction of all that braided SS stuff.

I want to do that hard line, but the only 1/2" aluminum line in the Jegs catalog is 25' long, which is nice, but they say maximum of like 30psi. Where are you getting the heavier duty/higher pressure line?

they only say 30 psi? oops...I got mine from jegs too, a long time ago. Split it with Jeff, whom had that black FD with a gt42r on it.

So I just checked, they say it's .035" wall, annealed tubing, and I stand corrected. Max of only 25psi, lol.

What should I do? Any problems so far? No lines bursting at 80psi?

Also, maybe you should just drive it over to my house right now so I can look at it. Then get a ride.

No issues, and I've rocked it for 3-4 years now? Shit..now I'm worried..

Schneider said I should replace my valve springs at least every 5 years, so 3-4 years on a part in a high powered car is pretty good, I'd say. I've only had my clutch for like 6 months and it's finito. I shall buy. But you should still give me a ride, haha.

Well, as far as I know..it's still holding, and no issues thus far. So, I'll just leave it. I also believe John is using this in his galant..

I liked my Fuellab FPR i had on my 2g. The one i had, had the option to do dual fuel rails, i blocked one of them off. It was a good setup, no complaints here.
