I ran across this article about Paul McCartney's wife giving birth and what I did not realize is that he is 61 years old. Personally I think that is just wrong starting a family at that age especially when the usual Hollywood relationship lasts all of 2 years.

There is nothing wrong with it, but the fact that the older a woman is the greater the chances are of the baby having Down Syndrome would make it a tough decision for me.

I just look at that fact that by the time McCartney's kid will be graduating high school, Paul will be damn near 80 years old.

He's a youngin'. Tony Randall, whom most of you wouldn't remember as Felix on the Odd Couple, the TV show in the 70's. He fathered a child with a woman less than half his age when he was 71.

Women have to have more tests done if they're pregnant after 35 and early 40's is considered almost dangerous for having kids. My wife is pregnant with our first and she's 33.
