Backyard weather balloon sent to space

A couple guys rigged a video camera and an iPhone to a weather balloon and let it go, then tracked it down to recover it.

That's what I thought considering it encountered 100mph+ winds in the upper atmosphere.

freaking sweet. I personally consider space to be anything further than 300 miles away from earth, lol. SO it went to the upper atmosphere, not space. I'd like to make something like that sometime. You could keep it going too and get way way out there.
