Very interesting. |
Re: Goldilocks
That's awesome, though it doesn't mean a whole lot right now since it's 20.4 lightyears away. Here's to hoping our space program doesn't dry up.

Re: Goldilocks
Very cool.
If what Star Trek tells us is true, that planet must be Vulcan. ;) |
Re: Goldilocks
Article about digging deeper into the details about this planet and any others we find.
http://www.space.com/scienceastronom...ife100930.html Thankfully technology is advancing by leaps and bounds, it will be crazy to see what we discover within the next 20 years. |
Re: Goldilocks
^ Awesome info.
Maybe its just the nerd part of me, but this really interests me and slightly boggles my mind. |
Re: Goldilocks
Well suposidly obama is planning on a moon base by 2020 and fusion reactors are not that far off so really space travel could and should be right around the corner. In our lifetime I imagine we will have the oppertunity to go into space, that is unless the mayans get us first:) or a big asteroid.
"The commenters were funny though. i LOLed at this one "haha is this really real though?? God created only one planet for life though... right?????" whos betting shes blonde..." Yeah and the earth is flat and was created in 7 days right? That jesus religious bullshit really kills me, there a just people out there who can't or unwilling or to scared to see past the bullshit for the truth. There is no way, no way we are the only form of life in our galaxie! With a billion stars in just our galaxie chances are there is life more advanced then our own out there, now multiply that by how many galxies there are and then you really have no basis claiming we are alone. |
Re: Goldilocks
Please do not turn this into a religious discussion.
It'll be interesting to find out if they actually do turn radio telescopes toward that planet and start listening. |
