I sold my bike and picked this up ten days ago. It's a 95 ///M3 with 123k on it! (125k now haha.)

I just dynod at DB two days ago and made 221 with an intake and a chip. These motors are only supposed to have 240 bhp so I was shocked.

Somebody really took care of that. I wonder if it was even driven in the Winter. My `01 looked worse than that from bugs eating the paint, etc.

It's from Wyoming and owned by a doctor. He replaced it with a 911 in June, and gave the M3 to his son. The son ended up not wanting it and sold it to me for cheap.

Re: Bought a new car!

Any rust on it? If I could find another without rust Id prolly buy another. Thats why I got rid of mine, it was starting to eat the frame underneath.

There are tiny tiny spots on the sun roof that haven't eathen through the paint yet and a little on the rear driver's window molding. But none underneath the car.

If I remember, 95 is the best year too. Very cool ride man, don't abuse it and always take care of it. :)

I have a friend I go to school with who just picked up a silver 328i 2dr. Such a nice car but with an open diff and no M hardware, still isn't the same.

awd-drifter - I really don't have any. I think coilovers would be nice, but they are double or even quadruple the cost of DSM ones haha.

123 - Here's a link for the oil reset on E46s http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=486429

Very nice! I just picked up a black/black 1998 M3 convertible this week, love it already. I just picked up a few little pieces for it from one of the owners of First Gear Garage, the shop in Eden Prairie where you can rent lifts and tools. He's got a 1995 M3 he's building up to race. These look to be a real deal now that they've come down in price a bit. Good luck with it!

I've heard that more than a few times already. I'm thinking about it. Sounds like you can get away with 400 on the stock block.
