Its not even about assimilating. Its about not having to print everything from signs, to legal documents, even traffic tickets, in 4 different laguages.

I'm pretty sure the news story I heard said they have never actually had to print something in another language. I'll let you do the reasoning on why they might choose to pass a law like this.

Not sure about Lino, but St. Cloud/Stearns county prints everything in like 12 different languages on all their paperwork.
