Why you ask? Because in my moment of desperation, having no alternatives to fixing my car other than bringing it to the dealer, Chris recalled seeing a thread some time ago that explained my issue perfectly, he directed me where to look and even offered to get me a replacement part.

Seriously, this dude is awesome. The amount of time and effort he gives to this site and its members is amazing. Not only a great guy, but a great friend.

LOL you're welcome dude! I got the part from Jim late last night (off my old car) I hope it's in good enough shape to get you back on the road man! Worked great for me; this is one of those super random problems dsms-I-mean-evos have from time to time. Remember when my windshield wipers would just not turn off and the ignition would just stay on even when I took the key out of my car? Gah what a mess that was, totally separate issue though!
